Hickory House Restaurant in Weston

Been there twice. First time they where out of food. 2nd time food was good service was very bad. Took order brought food never seen the lady again. Had to ask multi people to get our bill.

Great food and service. Neat dacore​. The Ribs and sides were excellent!

Busy. Love the license plate and old signage. I did not see a handicap accessible ramp, but I was not behind the building either. I did not see a handicap parking spot either. Here again I didn't do a 360 around the building. It was pouring down rain the day we were there. It really affected my visual range. Waitress was great. I will not be returning.

The service was prompt and friendly. The green beans and baked beans tasted like they're from a can. The pulled pork and brisket we're good. Good sauce on the table.

Really good food for good price

We really like this place. The ribs are epic, pulled pork is really good. The sides could be better, but it is about the meat honestly, right?

On behalf of my family and myself Id like to thank Server Nancy and Manager Roy for accomodating such a large group of us last week with no reservation. We didnt plan on a get together after Uncle Mikes funeral but after the burial 22 of us got together and met up at your tavern to celebrate the life of Uncle Mike. Nancy was so respectful and manager Roy was Superman putting a table together for us! Hickory House is THE best Tavern this side of West Virginnie

This place was awesome. We got into town around 8:30 and were looking for a bite to eat. We drove by the Hickory House and it caught our eye from it's appearance. One of the waitresses was outside on the porch and said to come on in when I realized they closed in 10 minutes, we said we would go elsewhere but she insisted it was okay and for us to stay. The interior decor was absolutely adorable and the food was delicious. While we waited, our waitress brought us some of their homemade pickles to try. Nobody ever gave us a bad vibe for coming in late and overall the food was great and so was the service. I give this place a 11/10, would recommend to anyone and would definitely stop again. I wish I knew our waitresses name because she definitely shown us the West Virginia hospitality.

spectacular food and people

Excellent food, great value, staff very nice and helpful. Don't sit by the door. Vibration behind wall annoying. Playing great selection of country music. Ice tea was weak. But definitely would come back absolutely worth the trip.

Excellent food, fast friendly service. Highly recommend the FracBurger and hickory smoked ribs. Pulled pork sandwich really good as well. And definitively try the homemade sweet & spicy pickles.

Great food, good service. Longer wait for the food to come out, but they are very busy and the food is hot, and cook to order, couldn't eat it all though. Definitely will eat here again.

The sandwich was big enough to make 2 meals out of. Price was fair, food was excellent, portion was WOW. If your ever in Jane Lew, WV i would suggest that you stop in.

Wow, what an awesome find a bit off the beaten path. Pulled pork and ribs are both good. They have brisket too, though we didn't try that one. Vegetables are all good too. They jar their own sweet and spicy pickles, which you can get as an appetizer and take home with you. The desserts all look good too, though we saved those for the next visit. Portions are sizable, so come hungry or plan on sharing.

Despite what google says, the restaurant is open to the public. Rustic atmosphere, fabulous food and in my opinion worth the price. The ribs are so good on their own that it would be a sin to use sauce!

Only thing that was good was the ribs brisket and pulled pork was not good at all we came here from fla and everyone was talking about it was so good !!! Don’t impress me all ! The only thing I would go back for is the ribs. The fry's you have to pay for extra was so cold I sent back the brisket it was bad !!! Thanks not a great experience

Best bbq in town which isn’t saying much. Go to miss piggies in buckhannon instead for better bbq.

Great food great selection. Highly recommend the "pipeliner sandwich" it's great. Sweet potato fries are great just needs to be little bigger portion with those fries. All in all great experience in all my visits here

You have to try the spicy pickles made in house! The pork BBQ is always great! Fun atmosphere, great family place, quick service!

The food was great, reasonably priced. I had pulled pork, it's southern style like I've had in GA and FL where you put the sauce on. Fantastic!! I recommend the sweet sauce, still has a little kick.

We had a great experience when we stopped for lunch. The brisket and ribs were delicious and our food came out quickly. Loved mixing the two sauces together. Our server, Freedom, was fantastic! She was very friendly, personable, attentive and great with our children. I would definitely recommend this restaurant. Best BBQ!

Great bbq great prices incredible pickles. My girlfriend and I went to pick up a doogo and stopped by for bbq. We were not disappointed. I got the brisket and ribs. Would you believe the smoke ring on the ribs went to the freaking BONE ! The brisket was tender and delicious. Her pulled pork sammy was incredible. Tender delicious, scrumptious, great service. They sell their pickles and sauces BUY THEM !!! #Trump2020

We've been here several times, and the food (bbq) and the service has been outstanding!!Well worth the trip..

I got the BBQ pork jalapeno cheddar sandwich, was ok. Onion rings are typical beer battered fried that come frozen. Honey got brisket platter; sides were good. Baked apples, baked beans and coleslaw. Brisket was sliced paper thin and VERY fatty.

Food was great and the service was great.

Food and service is great. Don't forget to get dessert, well worth the money.

Everytime I am that way I make it a point to stop in and eat best BBQ in WV
